I drove into Yellowstone Park after my meeting. Sitting on the side of the road, watching wildlife, and eating my salad (sadly, my wife got me a plastic fork not realizing I packed a reusable "science of food" multi utensil). Anyway, I cleaned up the trash from this small side pull out. It was sad that a water bottle as well as large and small trash was there, but it made me feel like I was doing my part.

It's very discouraging that people just don't understand how to throw things away properly! Thanks for cleaning up nature! :)

Having a harder time getting into the rhythm this year, however, as I pack for my time away, I am packing not only mug/cup but also reusable utensils. I forgot to do that last year for the red wolf meeting but this year I remembered!

My wife always carries a reusable straw (I don't use straws). I try to keep a "Science of Eats" utensil in every bag/suitcase

I also brought my reusable mug/cup on my travels! Gamechanger for avoiding plastic in transit.
