  • Reflection Question
Food Ask My Favorite Restaurant to Reduce Plastic Use
What was your strategy in talking with your favorite restaurant's management? Did you find it to be effective?

At risk of sounding like a crazy lady, but in Korea I would keep a clean tupperware container in my bag. "Take home" containers were not a thing at restaurants so this was the easiest way to get things home. It is easy enough to start doing this here as well.
  • Reflection Question
    Food Use Reusable Water Bottles
Using the links provided, investigate the bottling practices of water corporations. There have been many cases where the water rights of the local people have been violated or even completely disregarded when a corporation decides to bottle water from a particular water source. How can you advocate for those who have been harmed by this bottling process?

Does anyone else get cute stickers to put on their water bottle? How do you personalize your bottle to make it fun?
  • Reflection Question
    Food Use Reusable Containers
How can you think outside the box (or bag!) when it comes to disposables?

Once you invest in cute reusable containers, not only do you get to save money over time but other people comment on your great taste in cute containers! ;P
  • Reflection Question
    Food Give Up Gum
Why do you chew gum? What habits could replace and meet your reasons for chewing gum?

We use natural items such as flower petals or leaves to spruce up an art project!
  • Reflection Question
Food Use a Reusable Mug / Collapsible Cup
Since the restrictions that COVID-19 has required of our society, trying to use your own cup might present new barriers, as well as new opportunities for creative problem solving. How were you able to achieve success on this action? How can you make it a long-term habit?

I make my own coffee or tea in the kitchen at home and work. Making this a long term habit will cut down on my beverage costs over time while reducing waste!
