  • Reflection Question
    Lifestyle Homemade Cleaners
What did you learn by making your own cleaning products? What is the biggest difference in making vs buying?

    Charlene Day 6/13/2019 1:12 PM
THe biggest difference is the money you save. I learned that is is very simple to add water to corn and coconut surfactants so that a little goes a long way.
  • Reflection Question
    Food Start Composting
Do an inventory of how much food waste you would save from going to the landfill if you start composting all of the time. What are the added benefits of having compost that is readily accessible?

    Charlene Day 6/13/2019 1:06 PM
Currently I would say about 8 cups of food waste can be diverted from our kitchen.
The benefit is that we can use the compost in our vegetable garden.

  • Reflection Question
    Community Host a House Party
What are the benefits of hosting a house party related to getting to know your guests, connecting them to the cause you are focusing on, and building your community?

    Charlene Day 6/13/2019 12:58 PM
It is so much more fun being together eye to eye. Also a whole lot more supportive. I have been doing this type of gathering for years now.
