got tired of wool balls leaving wool on clothes. Stopped using them. Using no fabric softener or sheets. Clothes feel fine.

I don't use fabric softener of any kind, except every once in a while I'll add plain white vinegar to the wash - just put some in where the softener goes. The wool balls never seemed like something I'd want to use. A friend of mine's dad has an alpaca farm nearby, and they sell alpaca fiber dryer balls - I haven't tried those either but she says they work well. I was wondering about those wool balls. I don't think I like the idea of using them.
