This challenge showed me that the smallest of things can have a big impact.  I am more aware of how I impact the world at large and will continue these great practices.

The different activities have really shown me how the simple things can help to keep our wonderful Earth beautiful and clean.

My buying in bulk and then filling up my smaller bottles I am able to save money.  Plus I wont have to go to the store as often saving on gas.  Seems like a win win on 2 levels.

This challenge wasn't as hard as I thought.  I bought a couple of reusable bags from the Dollar Tree and used them when I went to the grocery store. I  was able to get all my items in my 2 bags versus the store probably would have used at least 5 bags or more. Great start so far.

As I did my daily neighborhood walk I picked up some trash items along the way and met a neighbor who says she does the same thing while walking her dog.  It was nice to meet a new face in my area.
  • Reflection Question
    Food Make My Own
How do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?

I am able to control what goes in my food far as the seasoning of it.  I like my foods spicy so making it from scratch let me control the heat.
