Made sure to pack my own toiletries in recycled bottles and bags. This is something that I was encouraged to do by my mother.

Since this is not new for me it was easy. Packing my cooler with fresh fruits and deli sandwiches keeps me from buying convenient snacks. Plus reduces the chance of getting traveler's diarrhea.

Knowing what chemicals my family will be comin  in contact with not to mention breathing in. Vinegar and water can clean almost anything.

By repurposing some of my clothing and jewelry items. I can also shop thrift shops to help recycle clothes.

With people being focused mainly on their own needs it can be hard for them to see the bigger picture. Taking small steps to change my shopping habits can make a huge difference.

No plastic bottle and no extra water helps to save both. The long lasting concentrated formulas could help to save money in the long run.
