I made a pesto pasta dish last night using basil, spinach, lettuce, and radishes all from my garden! The pasta I bought came in a recyclable cardboard box and all the spices I used are in glass containers. Is it just me or does everything taste better when you grow it yourself?!

I'm starting out strong thanks to my garden + my farmers market! I find that I most often consume plastic when eating out or buying from the grocery store. By lessening both of those and instead eating locally-sourced foods from my backyard and farmers, I hardly consume any plastic / find it much easier to avoid!
