What are the benefits of switching to bamboo toothbrushes? How would you implore others in your community to make this switch as well?

    Annika Kapani 6/30/2020 8:51 AM
very random but sometimes my toothbrush slips and stabs my gums causing bleeding and pain. with the bamboo brush its so much more smooth with great grip where I don't have to worry about slipage
  • Reflection Question
Personal Care Back in the Bowl
Why is it so difficult to understand the impacts our purchases and waste have on other people, animals, and places? How might your experience with this challenge impact your future consumption and choices?

    Annika Kapani 6/30/2020 8:51 AM
its important to understand the environmental factors for the future of this world! people must be aware of the harm and damage it can have in the long run

  • Reflection Question
    Food Use Reusable Utensils
How can you be an advocate for using reusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable food packaging or eating utensils, and how can you convince them of the need for change?

    Annika Kapani 6/30/2020 8:46 AM
its cheaper! people are always looking to save money

    • Sophia Paul 7/01/2020 6:11 AM
Definitely always great to bring in cost savings as an argument! Restaurants that provide reusable cutlery also often appear more high end and can charge slightly higher prices
  • Reflection Question
    Food Skip the Straw
Have you noticed a shift in your community as more messaging about reusable straws becomes mainstream? Cite some examples.

    Annika Kapani 6/30/2020 8:45 AM
I love drinking iced coffee out of a straw but it definitely tastes better and more fresh out of a reusable aluminum straw!
