  • Reflection Question
    Food Buy Unpackaged Produce
Why do you think these produce products started amassing so much plastic packaging? Who is the plastic packaging really serving -- the consumer, the producer, or someone else?

    Margarita Lopez 6/24/2020 7:46 AM
Buying produce without packaging is an easy way to go because it allows you to individually select the items to your liking.
  • Reflection Question
    Food Minimize Packaging
With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

    Margarita Lopez 6/24/2020 7:44 AM
I enjoy purchasing items in the bulk section of the grocery store whenever possible to reduce packaging.
  • Reflection Question
    Food Use Reusable Containers
How can you think outside the box (or bag!) when it comes to disposables?

    Margarita Lopez 6/24/2020 7:43 AM
Use different sizes of re-usable containers to fit a variety of lunch items that you make packing lunch easy.
