I do buy hand soap, shampoo and conditioner in bulk and fill containers for use in multiple rooms and when traveleing.

What did you find out about your plastic consumption by using the calculator? What did or didn't surprise you?

I did not consider the plastic that cleaners come in or the plastic that shampoos and face creams use.

I have found this too--and think it's the same for about everyone.  There's so many things that come with some form of plastic!  The focus seems to be on beverages and food items, and we forget how many other places it shows up.
But we don't have to be perfect--any change is a positive change.  I switched from a shampoo and conditioner to a shampoo bar and I LOVE it!  Got another one instead of body wash too!
