That my bathroom is an area that is hardest for me to make zero waste swaps. So I’ve been working on it for a while, but when you buy tons of something, it takes a while to get through them. I have donated tons of products, and used a lot. Compares to where I was, Im Actually doing really well, but it’s going to take more time to transition, because I’m not going to just ton products into landfills to make that swap immediately.
  • Reflection Question
    Food Use Reusables at Work
It is often true that we only have control over our own actions and not the collective community. How can you lead by example when it comes to switching disposables for reusable dishes in your community?

I keep them in my lunch box, but I also have a “kit in my bag” that I carry everywhere. It has a reusable napkin, straws, bamboo spoon & fork. I get asked about it all the time!

    Food Minimize Packaging
With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

Yes. I am acutely aware of the amount of plastic that everything comes wrapped in, everything comes packaged in. I have worked hard to limit my plastic consumption.
