Reflection QuestionCommunity Host a Watch PartyHow does hosting a watch party help you to get to know your guests, connect them to the cause you are focusing on, and build your community?
Ramesh Srinivasan 7/23/2020 10:58 AMI believe everyone deep-down wants to do good and help and build the community.so hosting a party and connecting with them brings out the right positive intentions to do good. -
Reflection QuestionCommunity Research Local Waste SitesIn what neighborhoods or areas of your region are landfills or other waste sites located? Which communities are most affected by these locations?
Ramesh Srinivasan 7/23/2020 10:55 AMThe community close to the landfill have been long impacted because of the ecological damage caused by the land filling. -
Reflection QuestionCommunity Estimate My Plastic Consumption and Go #PlasticNeutralWhat did you find out about your plastic consumption by using the calculator? What did or didn't surprise you?
Ramesh Srinivasan 7/21/2020 7:25 AMThe number of single use plastics we are supposed to be using is far too much and the amount of waste generated is astronomical for a single household monthly. -
Reflection QuestionCommunity Volunteer in my CommunityHow does volunteering enhance your community and/or change your relationship with it?
Ramesh Srinivasan 7/21/2020 7:18 AMVolunteering shows the community there is a bigger purpose to everything. Every-time we volunteer we feel more purposeful due to the action of giving. -
Ramesh Srinivasan 7/16/2020 8:58 AMWorking hard to stay on top of the task and very glad to see so many people working together across the world for this cause. -
Ramesh Srinivasan 7/12/2020 7:27 AMIt’s not been easy to do it during the lockdown. However the challenge is the timing of it and trying in all ways to get it done is the objective. -
Reflection QuestionPersonal Care Pearly WhitesCurrently most of the packaging for toothpaste is plastic. How can you advocate for more alternatives through your purchasing power and influence in community?
Ramesh Srinivasan 7/12/2020 7:21 AMMoving away from plastic is the motivation and buying products which advocate that for our toothpaste is the way forward. The consistency and regular use makes it an absolute need and showing how we can reduce plastic in toothpaste will be the biggest win for all of us. -
Reflection QuestionPersonal Care Lather UpWhat are the economic and personal benefits of switching to bar soap/shampoo/conditioner or refillable bottle options?
Ramesh Srinivasan 7/12/2020 7:19 AMDo most of us know a big part of pricing a product comes from packing and packaging? Once we know it we can immediately understand how to be smart and cost effective by using reusable option or moving to the tried and tested method of bar soaps and shampoo/conditioner. -
Reflection QuestionPersonal Care Pretty oh so PrettyHow can you advocate for the importance of reducing packaging to the rest of your friends, family and larger community?
Ramesh Srinivasan 7/12/2020 7:17 AMShow them the way on how I do it and how easy is it to make the shift. Nothing works like action and everytime we show someone how it’s done the chances of them following through becomes really high.
