We are generally pretty good at keeping the waste down under pre-pandemic circumstances but I've noticed that our trash is filling up a lot faster these days. We have been buying a lot of our necessities online and having them shipped to us. It's harder to control the type of packaging I purchase this way and the shipping materials that stuff gets shipped to me in. When possible I compost any materials I can like unprocessed cardboard or filler but the plastic packaging and bubble wrap and packing bubbles take up a lot of space in my garbage. This is the place I need to work on the most. I need to start finding those sites that send their materials in eco-friendly packaging and boxes.

Hey Team, I just signed up today. What an awesome challenge. I'm always looking for new ways to reduce single use plastics and help to clean up and heal the environment.
