    I have really enjoyed learning more about how to reduce the use of plastics and how to properly recycle the plastics I do use, like my contact lenses. I've enjoyed feeling part of a community in this challenge, and I've found new resources, like plastic-free packing tape, to help me continue my efforts to be plastic free. Thanks!

    I've really appreciated this eco-challenge for the resources, reminders and feeling of being part of a community working to help our Earth. I was especially excited to learn about the ability to recycle my contact lenses and their plastic packaging - never knew that B&L recycling program existed! I feel committed to continuing my learning...

    We have some "to go" containers that are plastic and were intended for one use, but we take them with us as our own to-go containers for leftovers, and we've reused them for years now. They're still plastic, but it feels better to keep reusing them than to toss or even recycle them (because where would they go?).

    I love Costco - except I think they use too much plastic packaging.  Wrote them a letter today.  Each little step...

    The amount of basil and mint that I can and do use this way and the lack of having to have it shipped and in a container or even using a rubber band is substantial - as long as one remembers to water them when there is no rain.

    Since I was the fruit and veggies before use, I just put most in my shopping cart directly without first putting them into a small plastic bag.
