    When I pick up litter in my community, I notice the small spaces and get more familiar with the space. I have also met members of my community while picking up litter. A quick 'Hey, thanks for doing that' can turn into a conversation. Not every time but often. I've never picked up a piece of litter and regretted it.

    It takes time. I'm always having to spend mental energy pushing against a work culture that wants me to be responsive at all hours. What would it look like if we had a business culture that modeled being responsive in a more limited way?

    Since I am trying to increase my intake of fruits and vegetables, and am spending much more time at home during quarantine I am able to use the would be waste to create a nice space in my backyard.
