    It helps to wash and collect all the plastic packaging (which we have just started doing with our Ridwell subscription) and to extrapolate that to week-after-week and year-after-year and household-after-household.     Around 100 rail cars per day stacked with two sea crates each go to the Columbia ridge landfill every day. I think it said 300,000 tons per day. Mind boggling. More here on Seattle’s waste management. https://youtu.be/zLFrMI2I3W0
