    It's encouraging to take the challenge with others, keep doing what I'm doing and learn more to do more.  I've undertaken the low hanging fruit in the past:  no single use plastic water bottles, take reuseable bags when I shop by leaving some in my car, bring my own containers if I go to a restaurant for carry out that uses plastic, consider...

    Less plastic of course and more economical.  Whatever motivation gets people to reduce, reuse is ok.

    On our trip, letting the people we stayed with know was helpful, and then letting it go when all didn't go perfectly.  Finding grace in the effort to change.

    Walked to the bookstore today and picked up about 50 pieces of plastic trash on the way home. Was able to recycle 3 plastic bottles and 3 aluminum cans.
