    It is so difficult to get items without plastic packaging. I have tried getting reusable produce bags for greens, but nothing seems to keep them fresh very long. Some items only come packaged in plastic, such as the mushrooms and okra we buy. Berries are another item, and with COVID-19, even the farmers markets are using way more bags. We've...

    Once the pandemic started, I started purchasing less than I normally did, and tried supporting more local businesses and restaurants. I have also been getting more of my health and safety items in bulk since I am purchasing items less frequently.

I did not know that there were plans to create a petrochemical hub along the Ohio River, with plants planned in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.     I was really excited that when I shared photos of me picking up litter with the trash picker I purchased, one of my former colleagues asked where I got the picker. He then purchased one himself and started picking up litter in his neighborhood, too!
