    I read about the Break Free From Plastic Act proposed in congress. There is an article in the NJPIRG newsletter, on this act, introduced by Sen Tom Udall and U. S. Rep. Alan Lowenthal.  A summary of this proposed act is online if you type in " Break Free From Plastic Act".

    For drinking, this  action is always easy since we have travel mugs and insulated jugs. For eating, travel snacks or a single meal is easy, but larger meals take more planning. We have the reusable containers and travel picnic basket ready

    Certainly less packaging.  And I am willing to look at this possibility, but my visual acuity and success of wearing contacts are my first priority.  I have been holding onto my contact lens packaging for over a year in hopes of finding a recycling opportunity.  Researching again this year.
