Visiting Oregon. Always impressed with their hotels and eateries no plastic use. They do a great job!

You come a long way baby! I am proud of my coworkers for improving their recycling habits - especially plastic water bottles. I see a lot more in the recycling containers!!

Back to my point on packaging. I recognize it is needed to protect the goods, but it just seems like there is a better way. I recently purchased a new couch and I wish I would have paid the $50 to have it delivered and then I would not had to remove all the plastic packaging. I was shocked, one layer of bubble wrap, one layer of plastic wrap...

I think the focus needs to be on the point of generation or don't generate the plastic in the first place. The focus and emphasis needs to be on manufacturing and packaging.
