    In trying to select more organic options, I have noticed that some organic items include more plastic packing than non-organic options.  In these cases, I've still made my choice based on the packaging and decided for the non-organic, non plastic wrapped items.  Also, why is celery ALWAYS wrapped in plastic?!  I can usually find alternatives...

    I made deodorant using arrowroot flour, baking soda, coconut oil, grapefruit essential oil and another perfume oil I happened to have.We will see how I smell later.     Social media is great for sharing information. I find that it is an easy resource to use to gain more info from friends and family. I created a plastic free July post yesterday and received a handful of helpful tips and tricks on sustainability from friends!

    I bought a Diva Cup on the way home from work today. It's about time I made the switch anyways. The cashier was shocked at the price, but it opened a conversation about sustainability and saving money in the long term.
