July 30 at 1:06 PMI love refillable travel containers for a few reasons - I can bring my favorite products, don't have to spend money on travel-sized brands, and I don't have to worry about being over the volume limit when flying!

July 30 at 12:57 PMI used to have 2-week lenses and now have lenses that last 1 month.. which means less waste! I also signed up for the contact lens recycling program. Unfortunately, it looks like they only accept their brand lenses :( I'm going to look into this more and see if they will accept other brands.

July 27 at 9:08 AMSwitching to the Diva Cup will help me save money in the long run for more than one reason. The first reason would be because I am not buying boxes of tampons anymore and creating waste. The second reason is that I wont be spending money on an expensive vet bill because my dog decided to get into my bathroom trash and eat all of my used...

July 27 at 9:05 AMMy pet is awesome because of all the adventures he will go on with me. But. that. HAIR. omg the back of my car is always COVERED in dog hair. I have tried multiple ways to get the hair out and a rubber glove gets most of it out, but not all because it is almost like it is sewn into the fabric. However, at home the rubber glove works well.

July 27 at 6:26 AMThis can be quite challenging since most of our food supplies are packaged in plastic, even some fruits and veggies! I always avoid any produce wrapped in plastic and choose the unwrapped alternatives. For things that there are no alternatives, I reuse the plastic containers as tupperware storage.
