I can lead by example and try to do it in such a way that others don't feel criticized so that if they choose, they can decide to make positive changes on their own and feel they have ownership of those choices

I hosted a community cleanup last year and was appalled at how many balloons we found out in the woods and on the side of the road. I doubt I will ever buy a balloon for the rest of my life. Meanwhile, I know two separate women in my community...

Let's take the fact that we have been inundated with smoke and wildfires and yet people still clamor to set off fireworks every 4th of July and the like despite the thousands of fires they start, the man injuries, and the incredible harm and dangers to wildlife and pets.
