I usually shop at Aldi's grocery store. However I noticed a lot of their produce was wrapped in plastic. So now I shop over at Sprouts or Crest for produce. Yeah it adds another stop to my grocery run but an added benefit, besides reducing plastic waste, is that I only buy enough produce that I need and don't waste extra.

We have limited food waste due to having a variety of pets/animals that help eliminate waste. From typical cats and dogs to chickens, a tortoise and a goat, very few things left to compost. They also help with yard/garden clean up:)

A great benefit of purchasing natural fibers is that they will naturally biodegrade if they are ever tossed out. Textiles made from plastics will never breakdown, so I try to avoid them.

I try to compost more at home so I won't have to clean the food out of the bins as much.
