This is a photo of part of the Armenian viper habitat where we did our field work last fall. During the fall and spring they prefer rocky hillsides near wintering den sites.     Here’s one of our Armenian vipers hanging out on exhibit this morning. About an hour later I moved him off exhibit so I could clean, then he returned to eat!

    Welcome to Team Armenian Viper! I'm so excited to have everyone join me for this Plastic Free July challenge. Throught the month I'll be posting ways I've been reducing my plastic use, as well as some of the Armenian viper conservation work that the zoo participates in!
