    I know I use way too many plastic bags when I go to the grocery store, so I decided to buy some reusable grocery bags that are super easy to keep clean. I do end up reusing the grocery bags I used to get instead of just throwing them away after one use, but these new grocery bags I got are pretty great :)

    I have been focusing a lot on cooking more. Yesterday I made homemade vegan coleslaw. Instead of buying the pre-shreded package of cabbage and carrots I opted for buying the produce and cutting it up myself. It turned out amazing!     Not quite a garden yet, but here’s my first herb plant! Basil that I started from a cutting. I put the stem in a glass of water for about a week, and it grew new roots! I got the pot from the Civic Council. If anyone has suggestions for another easy herb to grow, I’m open to them.
