    Social media is probably the #1 method of communication today. For example, I have many friends on Facebook - some close, some old, some that I'm friends with because we know of each other or share interesting things online. If I want to share something important to me, a broad variety of people will see it.

    Bars last so much longer than liquids and of course are plastic free. The products I use from Ethique have been my go-to for 3 years now and my hair and skin are so healthy whereas I use to have problems in the past with other brands in bottles.

    I've been using Ethique's bar shampoo, conditioner and soap for awhile, and have their bamboo bar holder that has a lid which is perfect for traveling. I just put them in my reusable water-proof "shower" bag and pack them in my suitcase. I've persuaded my mother-in-law to try the bars and she likes them.

    At the beginning of quarantine, before we were officially placed on lockdown I had an idea that I wanted to start a garden at home. It's so much nicer just being able to walk out into my yard and pick a cucumber, pepper or tomato. Not only was I safer not having to go to the store, but no gas was used to transport the produce.

    I wrote a blog for work a few years ago announcing our plans to go straw free and the news picked it up! In the blog, I mentioned that we had reusable souvenir straws available and because people love swag from their favorite places they seemed more than eager to help the earth just to get a cool straw.
