Our mission is to reduce the impacts of plastics in Los Alamos County and surrounding counties by raising awareness about the dangers of plastic pollution, by advocating for a reduction of single-use plastics and the recycling of all plastics, and by doing our part to reduce our own use of single-use plastics.

    Personally, I love plants so no matter what I grow I will be happy. I am a very big believer in how plants help clean the air. Plus I feel like a bada** being able to grow my own garden. :)

    The main reason for supplying my pet with toys I make myself is the fact that I didn't have to use gas to go to the store, or the delivery truck didn't have to use gas to deliver toys. Plus the plastic wrapping around all the cat toys is absolutely awful. Some toys don't need that much wrapping to be sold. But I make the tie blankets from...

    Hard but rewarding. The reusable water bottle I already do. Bought bite toothpaste and working on the toothbrush. Trying to eat plant based meals with out plastic.

    More people are using the metal straws over the plastic ones, and they are using water bottle over just plain plastic water containers
