Help us make the Plastic Free Ecochallenge the best it can be! Take the challenge pre-survey (and look out for the post-survey at the end of the challenge!) so we can better understand the impact the challenge has and how we can improve in the future. Plus, you'll earn points for completing it! Thank you!

Plastic Free @ Columbus Zoo 6/27/2024 12:54 PM@Jennifer - It's the same as previous years.
Can you please tell me more about what you didn't find phone-friendly? Adding it to my phone is one of the first things I've done every year since 2019 and have never had a problem with it, so I'd be very open to learning more about the concerns you have with it!
Feel free to respond here or shoot me an email at [email protected]. Thank you! -
Jennifer Klotz 6/27/2024 12:51 PMIs it a real app this year or just an adjusted version of the website? Not entirely phone friendly last year.

Plastic Free @ Columbus Zoo 5/23/2024 10:57 AMHello everyone and welcome to the 2024 Plastic Free Ecochallenge! 🎉
We're all SO excited you're here and can't wait to see the impact we can all make together.
The challenge officially kicks off on July 1, but in the meantime here are some next steps to get you prepped and ready to hit the ground running in July:- Click the "Manage Actions" button on the right-hand menu. Go through each of the 6 Action Categories, check off any actions you're already doing as "I already do this" (5 points each!) and select which actions you want to commit to for the duration of the challenge. Quick note: DAILY actions don't necessarily need to be done every single day - they're just actions that are done more often than once. So pick a variety!
-
Take our pre-survey! This is an action that's listed at the bottom of every Action Category, and taking it will earn you 35 points! (You can't actually check in until July 1, but you can take the pre-survey any time before then and just mark the action as complete on July 1.)
- Invite more teammates! This challenge is open to anyone and everyone, so click the "Invite Teammates" button on the right-hand menu and share your referral link with everyone you know - your friends, family, knitting club, Lyft driver, barista - everyone - and let’s create some change in our community 🌎
If you've never participated in an Ecochallenge before, there is a handy-dandy tutorial for you as well. Just click "Show Tutorial" on the right-hand menu. And feel free to drop ANY questions you have as a reply to this post. Happy action-picking!
