    Enjoyed a recent vacation where I ate with real utensils (not plastic) and take away containers were not plastic. Used a metal water bottle as well. I also noticed the hotel cleaning staff was actually recycling.

    I selected the ecochallenge about proper food storage and I learned a lot. I've already begun changing my practices to ensure food lasts longer and doesn't wind up spoiled and in the compost when it could have been eaten. Check out this ecochallenge - it's very informative.

    On my short 15 minute walk around my neighborhood & local park today, I picked up 7 pieces of trash, of which 6 were plastic. And this is since yesterday, when I walked the same route & picked up litter.
