I wanted to cut down on waste going to the landfills and also wanted to stop buying things I don't need. Participating in this challenge made me think much more about each item I purchase and why. Thank you for the invitation and the opportunity to share in this challenge. 

Spent 90 minutes on a virtual webinar from litzsinger road ecology center learning about 3 r's including plastic reusing and recycling.

As I have been doing litter clean-ups throughout the month, I have really come to appreciate how much using reusable/ washable face covering benefit the environment. Sadly, I have picked up a lot of disposable face masks and also disposable gloves. It's gross to pick up other people's trash, but it is even more gross to think about that ending...

It's home stretch team!! You guys are AWESOME and you are making a difference. Little choices and big ones, everyday, over a period of time add up to A LOT of change! Thanks for being part of our amazing Saint Louis Zoo team!
