    I researched how to make homemade peanut butter and homemade dog biscuits.  It appears to be very easy!  Now I just need to get the basic ingredients I don't already have and make them.  What is even better, the homemade peanut butter will be used in the dog biscuits too!

    Since I grew up on a farm and we grew our own food, I learned early the importance of fresh vegetable and fruits. When I see so many things now wrapped in plastic, I want to go back to my farm days and buy produce in its natural state and not wrapped in plastic. This challenge is a great daily reminder.

    Just a reminder that I've set up a screening of The Story of Plastic. You can click on this link and watch it at home. This link expired early on July 15th so you only have 2 more days left to watch it. I hope you can fit it in your schedule. It's an amazingly well produced film on a horrific topic - the plastic crisis.

    I really enjoy all the great information everyone post here, I learn from reading these post. This gives us ideas on what we can do to make the world a better place. My wife is now going to use plastic free shampoo & conditioner as well. I've used bar soap for years and now she will do the same.... :) Thanks!!!! Boy, we're digging the fresh...

    It's difficult for people to understand the impact of their everyday waste because most don't live near landfills or highly polluted areas. Being in the US, we don't see our trash accumulating on the other side of the planet, creating hazardous conditions for other humans and animals. Nonetheless our waste is still our responsibility. We need...
