Recycling t-shirts. You can gather all your old t-shirts and make them on to a blanket. The shirts that are not 100% cotton will keep keep plastic out of landfills!

Excessive production of products. For the most part we have access to so many products and we are made to believe that we need to newest item instead of using or fixing what we already have.

This was a topic that was difficult for my kids to understand. Helping them understand that little things they do can help.

I try to buy what I will keep to avoid excessive returns. This is especially true for food!

I definitely put more thought into how to repurpose items before donating. I try to give items to people that might find them useful.
