    My husband and I watched Morgan Spurlock's "Holy Chicken" documentary. It was really eye opening about the misdirection of the chicken farming industry as far as labeling is concerned. Also the acceptability of chicken mortality on these farms. so many animals are "wasted". It made me really appreciate my little back yard...

    My employer provides utensils, so they would eliminate an ongoing expense by getting reusables. They also provide water bottles because we have non-potable water. Many of us have started bringing our own water from home.

    We had a company picnic For the holiday today, and I brought my own reusable utensils. It was a great conversation starter!

    It's only Day 2, but so far my ecochallenge is going well.  Some of the "one-time" actions, like having a discussion or watching a video, can really be done more often.

    Sometimes people get stuck in their ways but creative thinking can show these people how there isn't just one right answer.
