July 26 at 6:42 PMSingle use plastic happened on "my watch" of earth school. I totally remember the milkman delivering in glass to our front door - such a different economy! My mom was a nurse during WWII in Portland and oh the stories she would tell at the dinner table!!! The Clavical (?) heated the overused glass surgical tools etc. - no wonder we...

July 24 at 7:59 PMCan hardly believe this is the last week of challenge! Today was one of the most plastic free days I've ever experienced, from making meals at home to eating out. I made sure I went "on empty" and so enjoyed cleaning my plate :) Will enjoy reading the news/posts/photos here over the next week - good luck and good job everyone!!

July 23 at 11:00 AMJust adding that I had a conversation with my Dad about switching from styrofoam to paper plates. He said he plans on switching!

July 22 at 7:30 PMThe plan was to finally get furniture replaced, picked up replacement and a dump run with the Silverado. I'd get to have some minutes touring a waste facility. Transfer station was closed. Grateful search was done and alternative place to take this was found - and done. Thank you Vamanos for your help today and previously! Glad I went to...

July 21 at 9:41 PMNot spending and using what I have now is a relief. I don't have to waste Gas when I have what I need. I will take more time on future purchases to ensure it is of value and meaningful.

July 21 at 9:36 PMI used a jar to collect flower seeds. It will come in handy when I plant them next season. The seeds are acclaimed to my yard and the seeds are free.
