    I'm happy I participated in this year's Plastic Free Ecochallenge! It was my first time and I'm happy with the actions I chose to commit to. I definitely want to keep up the daily actions, and can't wait to be a part of this supportive community again!

    🍓 I was gifted popsicle molds and recipes by family, and made strawberry popsicles on Sunday — they came out so great! Currently waiting for grapefruit popsicles to freeze. I'm happy to turn fruit (and overripe fruit) into frozen treats. The molds are made of plastic, but they are infinitely reusable and will save a lot of cellophane wrappers...

    I learned how easy it is to make my own cleaning products and that most of the ingredients are things I already have in the house! It is an easy way to save money and reduce plastic. My family has also been looking into buying more concentrates and using reusable bottles

    I noticed the other morning when I was watering my tomato plants, some birds (Dark-eyed Junco) had flew down as I was fetching more water. They flew off when I approached, but I think they came down to either drink the droplets from the leaves, or try and find bugs along the damp ground.
