PVC is a very hard-to-recycle material. I've struggled with my plastic shower liner getting really gross-looking so I think when it's officially time to replace, I want to look into a linen or hemp curtain instead that I can wash easily.

I reused a plastic jar to store pretzel rods in. I like to reuse containers when I can.

I reuse a lot of my sour cream and yogurt containers for projects like gardening! It feels good to reuse the same containers year after year even if they suffer from a little imperfection, who cares it still works for it's purpose!

While I haven't been able to get a garden going this year like I wanted, I am excited to do it. Being able to grow my own healthy snacks and ingredients will help save on grocery costs, as well as reduce grocery store plastic bag use.

I've fallen in love with a local soap maker that makes shampoo bars, lotions, and body bar soaps--I can support the local small business economy, and all of the ingredients that she uses in her products are directly on the package so I know exactly what's in the natural cleansers I am using! It gives me peace of mind that I am taking care of my...

This morning before work, I went on a lovely walk. This is something I try to do everyday to get my body and my mind ready for my work day. Sometimes it’s a quick 10 minute walk around the block, or a 30 minute stroll down to the park and back. The sky was absolutely beautiful this morning! I wish I had gotten a photo!
