I love going to thrift stores because it is like shopping at a hundred stores in one! So many unique items and brands and you never know what you will find.

I've been in a rut and sad to see so many people in our community complaining about litter and dog poop. This challenge was just what I needed to provide that extra motivational push to not complain, just take action and pickup the litter, scoop the poop and dispose of properly. Seeing a clean neighborhood feels nice and there isn't nearly as much complaining from our neighbors. win-win

I found a nearby store that takes all clean plastic bags, wraps and mailers.

That's great! Trex tends to be the main collector of bags and film plastics. More information about participating locations with drop off bins can be found here.

Ugh, it's so hard to be 100% plastic free. Wanted to not buy herbs in little plastic containers in the grocery produce section. Bought a herb plant instead with the intention of planting it for continual herbs at home. The plant pot and wrapper were plastic. :(

I often reuse Saran Wrap for more than one time. Will cover leftovers with perused wrap

Family + Pets All Natural Pet Toys
In what ways is supplying your pet with all natural pet toys better for your pet, better for you, and better for the environment?

Visited a dog food store and successfully walked out with new dog food information and zero new toys. The hide a treat toys are so popular now, so I'm just using his current toys in new ways - hiding treats in them then wrapping them up in his blanket and under his bed. Takes him a while to figure things out.

Instead of power walking throuh the neighborhood, I slowed down, let the dog sniffed and started noticing and picking up so much litter.
