Reducing coltan mining is a biggie for me.

I reinforced the thighs of my favorite jean shorts. The fabric had gotten worn because of thigh-rub friction.

I'm paying more attention to the wear and tear on my clothes. I can preemptively reinforce some of my clothing that, do to friction, is more prone to wear thin and develop holes. This will help extend the life of my garment.

Apart from the usual benefit, which is reducing the amount of micro plastics that are released into the world, it will also reduce chemical waste and air pollution from plastic making companies.
