Our dog goes through stuffed animals in hours, ripping them to shreds so we go thrift/garage sale on them, we buy a few so we always have a new to her toy in the cabinet

Recently did work on our washer, cleaning a filter that we had heard might help with the draining. It worked and now we will get a few more years out of the washer and no big repair bill. Thanks utube

I always try to use items as long as I can, then pass them on to someone else, the school down the street gets things that they need from all of our community. Recently they got an easel and other items from us

This was a really hard one for me, I am using dryer balls and the sticky things in the wash to remove pet hair. So far so good. Not sure yet that I can switch completely (I wear a lot of black and have a dalmation that sheds) but sheets, towels, all non black items are dryer balls for sure!

One of the things I always do when I am decluttering, is send a group text to friends and family or on my neighborhood facebook page to see if someone is looking for that item. I love when I can give new life to something that I no longer need, but it is still of use.

    Bedroom Clean the Dryer Vent
When was the last time you cleaned your dryer's air vents? Was it easier or more difficult than you anticipated?

I have a long extension on my shop vac and I go through the outside and the inside vents. It is not hard at all, the worst part is dragging the vacuum around, but I do think my clothes dry faster and I always worry about fire hazards so this puts my mind at ease on that . WIN WIN

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Bedroom Multiple Wears Before Washing
In addition to helping clothes last longer, washing clothes less frequently also saves water by running the washing machine less often. As the climate and water situations change, what are some other ways both your household and our community could become more resilient?
