    Well, here we are at the end of July. I've really enjoyed this year's plastic free Ecochallenge, although, it feels like the month sped by. I'm excited to carry on my new habits and actions all through this year, and beyond. Great job everyone 🎉

    Plastic straws are definitely the hard one. They’re so much a part of our general society now.

    Where has the month gone? This has definitely been an adventure in becoming more conscious of plastic use in every day life. But also hope building in knowing so many people do care.

    Today I spent around an hour researching sustainable fashion. I completed this action last year, and decided to look further into it this challenge. Being as eco-friendly as you can is often difficult and discouraging. Making sustainable fashion choices is no exception. My advice: Be mindful. Only purchase clothing (or anything for that matter)...

    I turned down the plastic fork offered with my lunch and used a reusable one instead.

    Learning more about how difficult plastics are to recycle makes the importance of this project even greater.
