My mental health is always better when I get to walk outside in nature. I have been very physically challenged this season with the construction of my new raised bed garden. I am grateful for the opportunity and the benefits that my garden has offered me this summer and what it will offer me year round going forward.
I did not get to be as involved in PFJ this year as I normally would have. I am setting a goal for myself to be extra involved next year and challenge myself to be present and engaged next year!
I have chickens and they lay eggs foe me instead of buying them from the store. We had an unusually large egg and it provided us with 2 yolks instead of one.
Besides the economic benefits of using the things we already own, how can this practice impact our lives in other ways and influence the way we interact with "things"?
